GHOST ALPHA UNIT SERIES
All story elements are framed in a post-apocalyptic alternate Omegaverse world with no shifters. This series is a slow burn. There is an MM relationship within the pack, but the FMC is still the main focus.
Ivy's Trilogy: The FMC has a past history of abuse and trauma, but no abuse from any of the MMCs. MMCs have traumatic pasts as well, including childhood abuse. Themes of war, political oppression, imbalanced power dynamics, omega subjugation, and ideation (to escape captivity, and not caring if one dies in battle). It is mentioned that a child died in a lab explosion (not graphic, during a flashback, and not a primary character). An MMC kidnaps the FMC. Unfettered alpha banter. Cannibalism mentioned in passing with no on-page depiction. Brief mention of an MMC having trauma from past CSA with no graphic detail, it is mentioned in passing. Combat violence and depictions of war. Fears of being disowned by family due to the omegaverse equivalent of homophobia (alpha in love with another alpha).
Cosima's Trilogy: Action violence, a giant mutant monster alpha who attacks and eats other alphas, alcohol use, mention of drug use, reference to medical experimentation and torture. There are non-graphic references to past CSA, human trafficking, and physical abuse that happened to the FMC and an MMC in the past (all off page). There are also recurrent references to witnessing the abuse of a parent, and group SA the FMC was subjected to by her former husband and other characters outside the harem. One of the MMCs is forced (not by anyone within the harem) to place an unloaded gun in his mouth and pull the trigger. Another of the MMCs engages in ritualized self-harm for religious purposes. There are significant mental health themes, including PTSD, suicidal ideation, and dissociative episodes related to captivity. While all sex between the FMC and MMCs is consensual, there are themes of captivity and imprisonment, as well as standard omegaverse themes, such as knotting, marking, and scent matching.
